“Thursday” has been slowly climbing the Billboard Dance Club chart in the USA over the last few weeks. It stands at number 23 at the moment and next week will enter the Top 20 at number 19.

Very happy to read that Nadya Tolokonnikova and Maria Alekhina of Pussy Riot are about to be released from prison. Under a new Russian amnesty law, prisoners “who haven’t committed violent crimes, first-time offenders, minors and women with small children” are granted amnesty from their imprisonment. These two brave and principled women shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Neil x

BBC Radio 3’s “Night Waves” programme tomorrow evening, December 17th, will consist of a 45-minute interview with Neil Tennant by Philip Dodd. Part of the interview was originally broadcast in October but this is the full conversation. The show will be broadcast at 10 pm and full details can be found at the link below.
