I stopped off in Paris on the way back from Spain. Caught the overnight train from Madrid.

Excellent Zaha Hadid exhibition at the Design Museum, London.
Yesterday afternoon I recorded the narration for two of a three-part documentary series on Radio 2 about Noel Coward’s songs. Then I went to see Damien Hirst’s exhibition, “Beyond Belief”, at the White Cube gallery in London, including the dazzling, diamond-encrusted skull.
We’re in Manchester.
So far spent my birthday in our studio! Celebrating later… Thanks for all the messages. Neil x

Our dressing room last night in the atmospheric Villa Arconati outside Milan. The audience were fantastic, particularly during “Paninaro”.
The wonderful opera singer, Angela Gheorghiu, came to see us, having sung at La Scala the previous night.

Thanks to everyone at The Eden Project for their hospitality yesterday. We had a guided tour before our show and then watched Dirty Pretty Things play. It only rained for one song during our set which was a result in itself!
