Our friend and “Most Incredible Thing” collaborator, the German composer Sven Helbig, will be appearing with the Fauré Quartett tomorrow evening at the Apple Store on Regent Street in London in a live performance of “Pocket Symphonies”, Sven’s new album of “short — yet symphonically deep songs”. Sven will also be introducing the album which is now available on iTunes. Come early as seating is limited. Link below.
The Flashmob Remix of ‘Vocal’ has entered Beatport’s Deep House Top 10. This remix is an exclusive download for Beatport and was created by DJ’s Danny Minchella and Alessandro Magani. The remix can be downloaded from the link.

In the UK, “Electric” has today entered the albums chart at number three. This is PSBs’ highest chart position for a new studio album since “Very” entered at number one in 1993.
“Electric” has entered the official albums chart in Germany at the same position as it is in the UK: number three. Meanwhile next door in Switzerland, “Electric” has entered at number six.
In the UK, “Electric” is now number 2 in the Midweek albums chart. Full details at the Official Charts Company link below.

Pet Shop Boys’ Barcelona concert last month at the Sonar Festival will be broadcast tonight on Radio 3 in Spain at 10pm. Link below.

Pet Shop Boys 6 Mix (two hours of continuous music chosen by Neil and Chris) was broadcast last Friday on BBC Radio 6. You can still hear it at the link below. The tracks were sequenced by Pedro Gonzales (a.k.a. PSB programmer Pete Gleadall).

BBC Radio 6 has chosen “Electric” to be their Album of the Day next Monday. As a result, a track from the new album will be played on every daytime show on the station for the day.
