I seem to spend a lot of time at stations and on trains.
Waiting for the plane at Göteborg Airport.
Watched the last song by The Ark (Swedish band) from backstage at Hultsfred last night. Very anthemic. They reminded me of Queen. Shame about the rain last night…
Thanks to everyone at Hultsfred last night (actually the early hours of this morning) for sticking with us through the rain! Neil x
At Queens for the afternoon.
A nostalgic moment at BBC Television Centre this afternoon. (I was there recording an interview for a TV series called “Pop Britannia”.)
Click on the link for a nice mash-up of Placebo’s version of Kate Bush’s “Running up that hill” and our own “Love comes quickly”. Very moody.
We all had a barbeque in the sunshine at the house of our sound engineer, Colin, before Garden Party in Ireland yesterday. Thanks, Colin!
Garden Party at Ballinlough Castle was excellent yesterday. A lovely setting and perfect weather with a fantastic audience. (Photo by Kyle.)

Enjoying a drink at The Temple Bar.
A night out in Dublin.
Great second show at Hammersmith last night with many friends and guests including Kylie Minogue and Tim Rice-Oxley from Keane. Fantastic audience but, at 105 decibels, not as loud as Manchester or Wolverhampton! Tonight in Swindon is the last night of the UK tour (although there’s still the Eden Project and Newmarket later on in the summer). Neil x

Sylvia, Nick and Andy rehearsing at the BBC yesterday afternoon.
Passing the time on the bus from Copenhagen to Skive.
We had a big audience at the Tivoli Gardens last night. The promoter told us that 39,000 people were there. A lovely setting for a concert. The only downside was that noise restrictions meant that the sound couldn’t be very loud. Chris tells me that his grandfather played with his group, The Nitwits, at the same venue in the late 50s or early 60s… Neil x
Enjoying a beer before tonight’s show at Tivoli Gardens.
