In 2009 we started our Pandemonium world tour in St Petersburg. We’ve visited Russia many times and written songs with Russian themes and influences. Now it is inconceivable that we can visit or perform there. But we look forward to the day when fascism fails in Russia, criminal politicians face justice, truth is told, neighbouring countries aren’t invaded or threatened and a new Russia is born. I hope we’ll still be around to see that.

Pet Shop Boys today release Bryce Miller’s mix of “It’s a sin”, which previously featured in the trailer for the Netflix show, “Monster: The Ed Gein Story”. The song is now available to stream and a visualiser video is available to watch on YouTube.
We are so sad to hear that Dave Ball, the keyboard genius of Soft Cell, has died. He was an electronic pop pioneer and with Marc Almond made a unique catalogue of songs, completely original in sound and content. Our love and condolences go to Marc and all those close to Dave. Yesterday we went to Wilton’s Music Hall for the dress rehearsal and then the first preview of “Musik”, the Jonathan Harvey/PSB show starring the brilliant Frances Barber as Billie Trix.
