Two exhibitions celebrating the work of artist/writer/filmmaker (and PSB collaborator) Derek Jarman have recently opened in the UK. “Protest” at the Manchester City Art Gallery is a retrospective of all aspects of his work while “Derek Jarman’s Modern Nature” at the John Hansard Gallery in Southampton focuses on his passion for the natural world. A short book accompanies this show and includes a contribution from Neil. Links below.

Pet Shop Boys today release Bryce Miller’s mix of “It’s a sin”, which previously featured in the trailer for the Netflix show, “Monster: The Ed Gein Story”. The song is now available to stream and a visualiser video is available to watch on YouTube.
We are so sad to hear that Dave Ball, the keyboard genius of Soft Cell, has died. He was an electronic pop pioneer and with Marc Almond made a unique catalogue of songs, completely original in sound and content. Our love and condolences go to Marc and all those close to Dave. Yesterday we went to Wilton’s Music Hall for the dress rehearsal and then the first preview of “Musik”, the Jonathan Harvey/PSB show starring the brilliant Frances Barber as Billie Trix.
