We drove down to Croydon today to visit the Brit School which is funded by the record industry and the government and teaches music and media courses alongside the regular academic curriculum. We were impressed by dedication of both teachers and pupils and the excellent facilities: recording studio, film editing suite, theatre, radio station etc. Here I am with the headmaster, Nick Williams (right), and the Chairman of the BPI, Tony Wadsworth. It’s traditional for the winner of the Outstanding Contribution award at the Brits to pay a visit.
We have additional information about the making of the “A man from the future” album.
