Last night I went to the London premiere of “Control”, Anton Corbijn’s film about Joy Division and in particular their singer, Ian Curtis. Nice to see all of New Order there and fascinating to watch actors portraying them on the screen. The actor playing Bernard Sumner gives a very accurate impersonation of him but the whole cast is excellent and the Manchester mix of humour and serious intent spot on. It’s a beautiful film.
Pet Shop Boys today release on Blu-ray/2CD their concert film “Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live at the Royal Arena Copenhagen”, which is now available to buy exclusively through the official store.

Pet Shop Boys are playing a sold-out Dreamworld show at the impressive Quinta Vergara amphitheatre tonight as part of the 65th anniversary edition of Viña del Mar Festival. The concert will also be televised in Chile.
