Pet Shop Boys have produced an hour-long show for the Berlin-based radio station, Radio Eins, sequencing and introducing their choice of music. The show is part of a series entitled “Freundliche Übernahme” which also includes shows presented by The Edge and Stephen and Gillian of New Order. Pet Shop Boys’ classic “Suburbia” was released on this day 40 years ago. The music video was directed by Eric Watson and filmed in the suburbs of San Bernardino and Duarte in Los Angeles and in Kingston-upon-Thames in Greater London.
