We are pleased to announce that Pet Shop Boys will be headlining the Cumbre Tajín Festival in Papantla de Olarte, Veracruz, Mexico, on March 22nd 2013. Other artists playing during the five-day event include The Smashing Pumpkins, Calvin Harris, Fat Boy Slim and Los Tigres Del Norte. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, January 17th, at 11 am local time. We are sad to hear that the distinguished British photographer Martin Parr, famous for his wryly distinctive images of everyday life, has died. In 2002 we asked him to direct the video for our song “London” and he made a short film which, in its combination of urban pathos and quirky London street life, was instantly recognisable as his work.
