As part of the “BBC Philharmonic Presents” season, Pet Shop Boys will be performing a specially orchestrated show for Radio 2 at the BBC Philharmonic Studios in Salford on December 5th at 8.30 pm.
Radio 2 have 65 pairs of free tickets (two per household) to give away from the link below from now until Monday, November 19th.
Neil and Chris will also be joined by Johnny Marr on guitar for some songs at the concert. Orchestrations are being supervised by Sven Helbig who orchestrated “The Most Incredible Thing” ballet. The concert will also feature the premiere of one piece from “A Man From The Future”, a new Tennant/Lowe work inspired by the life and work of mathematician and computing pioneer Alan Turing.
This Saturday 2 August, the independent cinema The Ultimate Picture Palace in Oxford will be screening two Jack Bond films, “It Couldn’t Happen Here” featuring Pet Shop Boys and “Separation”. All details on the double feature at the link below.
