We would like to wish all Pet Shop Boys’ fans and friends and all visitors to this site a very merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year. Neil and Chris are looking forward to playing in Sydney on December 31st and then, in 2012, recording and releasing a new album. Also in 2012, the double-album compilation of b‑sides and bonus tracks, “Format”, will be released and “The Most Incredible Thing” will return to Sadler’s Wells (and visit Austria). We are sad to hear that the distinguished British photographer Martin Parr, famous for his wryly distinctive images of everyday life, has died. In 2002 we asked him to direct the video for our song “London” and he made a short film which, in its combination of urban pathos and quirky London street life, was instantly recognisable as his work.
