Big Noise on December 8th

Big Noise on December 8th

Press release issued today by Mencap:
“Mencap is proud to announce that Pet Shop Boys will be performing a very special one-off Christmas Big Noise Session show on 8th December, at Hammersmith Apollo. The legendary dance-pop duo will be presenting a one-off UK theatre performance of their ‘Pandemonium’ show which has toured the world and was a huge hit at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and at the O2 Arena last year. They will also be joined by a number of support acts who will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets are priced at £50.00* and all proceeds from the night will go to learning disability charity Mencap.
Mencap’s Big Noise Session is a new addition to the much-loved Little Noise Sessions, curated and hosted by the legendary DJ and Mencap ambassador Jo Whiley. Last year’s inaugural event saw bonafide superstars Coldplay perform a one-off homecoming gig in Exeter and now it’s the turn of Pet Shop Boys to bring their magic to Big Noise as it makes its London debut.

Our old friend Cicero cropped up on the TV show “Never Mind The Buzzcocks” last week. Then Pop Justice alerted the pop world to his wonderful song that should have been a hit, “Live For Today”, from the soundtrack to the film, “The Crying Game”. Click on the links below to rediscover this underrated song and also the cheeky video for “Love Is Everywhere”. Both tracks were produced by us in the early 90s.
