Went to the preview of an exhibition of photographs by Linda McCartney in London tonight: a carefully chosen selection of images which really “capture the moment”. I knew Linda a little and thought she was a gentle, kind and creative person. (The photo above is a self-portrait taken in Francis Bacon’s studio in 1997.)
