Neil Tennant is interviewed tonight on Newsnight (BBC2 10.30 pm) discussing the new film of Stephen Sondheim’s “Sweeney Todd”. Tomorrow night (Friday, January 18th) he will be interviewed in the third part of “Pop Britannia” at 10 pm on BBC4, which focuses on British pop’s “constant struggle between the forces of art and commerce” over the last three decades.
