In 1993 a CD was compiled as a competition prize for Radio One in the UK and only a handful of copies were made. The CD contained tracks that had not been commercially released. We have uploaded two rarities to the Exclusive Tracks file in the PRODUCT section on this site: “It’s a sin (Miami mix)” from 1987 and “Left to my own devices (Frankie Knuckles Royal Piano mix)” from 1988. Pet Shop Boys compiled
We are sad to hear that the distinguished British photographer Martin Parr, famous for his wryly distinctive images of everyday life, has died. In 2002 we asked him to direct the video for our song “London” and he made a short film which, in its combination of urban pathos and quirky London street life, was instantly recognisable as his work.
