Five dynamite singers. A grand piano. A string quartet. Fusing concert, cabaret and musical theatre, this intimate evening strips back the songs of the Pet Shop Boys and reinvents them with surprising results. With a cast of five of Australia’s finest singers, experience Pet Shop Boys’ songs as never before. In a five-star review, the Edinburgh News said: “Some things really are worth waiting for, and Seriously is definitely one of them, so queue around the block for tickets.” The Stage called it “a rich and rare thing: a genuine ‘art’ musical that could also be said to be a piece of pop art.”
“Seriously. Pet Shop Boys Reinterpreted” was at the DeMarco Roxy Art House from August 2nd to August 27th. Further seasons of “Seriously” are planned for other cities.

We are sad to hear that the distinguished British photographer Martin Parr, famous for his wryly distinctive images of everyday life, has died. In 2002 we asked him to direct the video for our song “London” and he made a short film which, in its combination of urban pathos and quirky London street life, was instantly recognisable as his work. We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends. Neil and Chris xx
