The Best of Electronic

Electronic, the duo of former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and New Order singer Bernard Sumner, are set to release a greatest hits album on September 18th.

‘Get The Message — The Best Of Electronic’ will include their two collaborations with Neil Tennant, “Getting away with it” and “Disappointed”.

Electronic released three albums in the 1990s and on their debut release collaborated with Pet Shop Boys on a track, “The patience of a saint”. Pet Shop Boys subsequently performed with Electronic at their debut concerts in Los Angeles, supporting Depeche Mode at the Dodger Stadium. Neil also collaborated with them on two singles, both featured on this album.

Johnny Marr has, of course, played on three Pet Shop Boys albums.
