A new play at the National Theatre in London includes an excerpt of “It’s a sin”.
The play, “The History Boys” by Alan Bennett, opened on Tuesday, and is about a group of schoolboys attending a Sheffield school in the 1980s.
The playwright Alan Bennett requested Neil and Chris’s permission to use the song which is sung by one of the boys shortly before the end of the show. Neil and Chris attended the first night of the play at the invitation of Alan Bennett and thought it excellent. Afterwards they met some of the cast at the first-night party.
