Derek Jarman

It is ten years ago this month since the death of Derek Jarman, the film-maker and artist who directed the videos for “It’s a sin” and “Rent” and also staged and made films for Pet Shop Boys’ first tour in 1989.
Riverside Studios in London are showing a retrospective of his films this month, including on February 16 a few of his Pet Shop Boys backdrop films. They are also presenting a theatrical celebration of Jarman’s work entitled “Jarman Garden” .
